Kniting, Reading, and Crochet

Knitting:  Tiny squares for our ongoing family knitting project.  We're almost there.

Reading:  Robert Frost poems

Crochet:  Coasters {from left to right} in organic cotton, dandelion dyed over handspun, organic cotton, hand dyed wool.  I've claimed the dark blue for myself.  I started with a magic circle and made the rest up as I went along.  I forgot how fast crochet works up!  All four coasters were finished in about 30 minutes.

What's on your needles {or hooks} right now?

  1. One of the things I love about crochet is how fast it works up. Love the colors.

  2. Love your coasters - what a great idea and your yarn is so beautiful! I love switching between knitting and crochet but at the moment I have one of each project on the go - both started last week. Joining in with Ginny too!

  3. Hi Elizabeth,

I found your blog on the Yarn Along this week. How fun to meet you! I live in Minnesota and also love knitting and the sustainable life. I am a bit new to the whole thing, though. This year, I learned to grow vegetables. It is so fun! Your life sounds very intriguing. I look forward to reading more.
