Casting On

Casting on, by candle light.  It's going to be a hat that I've had in the back of my mind for far too long.  What are you casting on this week?

  1. Trying to avoid casting on when I have so much else to finish, but I'll probably end up with a pair of socks by the end of the week :) That yarn looks amazing

    1. I know how you feel. I took out enough yarn last night to start three more projects, then came to my senses. Apparently, I was going to knit hats for everyone in one evening! The yarn was a gift from a friend. It was the last bit left over from a pair of socks she started knitting years ago.

  2. Happy to be back knitting after crocheting for a while. I'm making a ribbed balaclava for Beckett in Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Superwash, Delft Blue Heather. Excited to see what you come up with.

    1. You've been crocheting for a long time! Change is always good. A heathered blue will be so nice on Beckett.

  3. I love that yarn! Oh how beautiful - I cannot wait to see the hat. :)

I am just finishing up the second of two yoga socks. It's the perfect kind of weather to put them to good use!

    1. It's so warm and inviting, yet makes it a tad difficult to see those tiny stitches.
