Spring Green

Yesterday, we took a walk down to the dam.  The water was open both above and below, so we stayed and lingered a while in the warm sun.  Oh, how I've missed the sound of rushing river water.  The snow had melted along the banks, exposing  the flattened, brown shore grass.  Luke couldn't help but kick off his shoes and run.  Up and down the shoreline, collecting rocks, inspecting moss, and looking for any signs of spring life.

I added a little spring green to my knitting, this week.  It's going to be a slouch hat, with a twist, for Mike or Jake.  Who ever claims it first.

Is it starting to look like spring where you live?
