Curiosity

One of my favorite parts of unschooling is getting to stand back and watch the curiosity unfold.

  1. I love that too! And I love it when the questions start rolling in and we all start learning new things :)

    1. I did knit the hat. It's a new pattern I'm working on. :)

  3. I was just discussing home schooling, unschooling, conventional education, with my parents. My little babe is only 15 months, but I already feel that she has learned so much just by spending time cruising about the house and discovering things by herself. I don't believe that I should keep her constantly entertained. And I love the cables on that hat also!

    1. I read a quote like that a long time ago, that the best way to teach them is to step back and just get out of the way! It's so true. Every time we try to step in and teach, all learning completely comes to a halt and they lose interest. :)

  4. Absolutely. This could be a snapshot of any given day at my house, too. :)
