I don't usually make hand knits for the shop anymore, but I had some yarn left over from my fingerless mitts that I made for myself back in April, and it was laying around begging for me to create something out of it. I can't even tell you how much I love this yarn! The mellow blend of aquas, pinks, oranges, and browns, along with the softness of merino.... swoon. I couldn't resist turning it into something for wee ones. How wonderful it would be for a child to play with something so soft and soothing. And then I dug into my stash of vintage buttons....
The sweater is tiny and just the right size for an 18" doll. I'm pretty sure it will fit a premie baby, too. To purchase the sweater, click here. If you'd like to make your own, you can purchase the Luna Sweater knitting pattern here.
