Spring Sunshine

The sun is shining for the first time in over a week and it feels so good to sit with it's natural warmth on my skin.  I can hear the melting snow fall from the roof, drip by drip, and robins chirping in the crabapple trees across the way.  The little boys and I went for a long bike ride and picked up sticks around the yard just to have an excuse to stay outside a little bit longer.

Feeling refreshed, and full of energy, I finished up some wool dyeing and started the embroidery handwork on a project I hope to have in the shop in the next week or so.  Can you guess what it might be?

  1. I am going to guess really cute place mats. I can't wait to find out what they really are

    1. A hat and tree skirt are the right shape, but still... no. :)

  3. Oh, my guess is justawful. The first thing I thought of when I saw them was "Oh she must be making recycled wool "peepee-teepees" Yes, weirdly enough, that is actually a thing. Almost 16 years ago now for my baby shower for my fist baby, a boy, some well meaning Aunt gave me one...I don't think I ever used it, I honestly don't remember seeing it ever again after the baby shower, but the image of it stuck in my head. So is that it? A bunch of colorful peepee-teepees? ;-)
