The Color of Winter
















The day was warm and calm.  We drove up north to the land and I walked alone in our woods for a little while.  Until they realized I was gone.

    Gorgeous photos! I work in a forest and see the wintery trees and bright red heads of woodpeckers out my second floor window. In the rush to get kids and their zillion accessories out of the house this morning I forgot my coat but this post has me itching to get out of the office and go for a walk alone in the woods! Maybe tomorrow.
