A celebration of the lengthening of days and the hope of spring and warmth to come. We spent the day at a nearby state park with a fire and a winter picnic lunch of hot veggie soup and bread. After the sun went down, we followed the fox tracks across the lake {The fox love to scavenge for left over minnows and fish from the ice fisherman!} and the boys had fun inspecting the ice fishing holes.
Did you do anything to celebrate the day?
How fun and wonderfully cold it looks there.
ReplyDeleteWe were 78 degrees today and I spent many hours in the herb bed, such a strange February!
We are also in the midst of a very warm winter and I washed all four of my dogs outside! Your winter looks so cold...looks like the artic area. I hope warm weather and light comes soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your warm weather. We've been hovering in the 30's which is unseasonably warm for this time of year in WI. I can't wait to plant seeds and do the washing outside again:)
