They're eco~friendly, luxuriously soft {no stiff kitchen cotton here ladies}, and you can whip up a whole set while watching your favorite late night movie or sitting at the ball field! Be careful though, this cotton comes in 21 gorgeous colors.... I can not be responsible for rapidly multiplying dishcloths!

ReplyDeleteI love hand made dish cloths, ill be sure to give these a go, thanks for the pattern!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of this - The organic yarn is soft and comes in a number of neutral colors. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh, our dishcloths are in pieces - so I need to do this - where do you order your yarn from?
ReplyDeleteWarm wishes, Tonya
The colors are to die for... I wouldn't use any other kind of dish cloth. These are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
Thank you very much for the free pattern!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you all love them! Tonya, the yarn is Lion Brand and I can usually find it at Michaels {especially with a coupon}. It's the only cotton I've found I like. Cotton usually makes my hands ache, but this is much more giving.
ReplyDeleteI usually knit these, it looks like they could easily be changed to knitting - thanks for reminding me how much I love these. THERE IS NOTHING like them for wiping your counter tops.
ReplyDeleteCan you really put them in the washing machine and dryer? I got the cotton from Michael's (with a coupon, thank goodness) and the package says hand wash/line dry...I'm pretty sure that my mother won't hand wash her washclothes, LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Fantastic post. I am going to make some of these. I did a year in review at NZ Ecochick and would love it if you would link up some of your favourite posts of 2011. Have a wonderful new year.
ReplyDeleteThese are a snap to make and work great! I throw mine in the washer and dryer and have never had any issues. These make great gifts too! Note: Try to use thick yarn and crochet them tight ;)
ReplyDeleteMy aunt makes these whenever she has a bake sale to make for. These always sell out first.
