Yarn as food?

I think the old adage applies to yarn as it does for food... Don't shop when you're hungry, and don't dye when you're hungry or you'll end up with kitchen full of deliciously yummy yarn!

Remember this week when I wrote about washing, carding and spinning wool....  Well, here it is in all it's wonderful juicy grapieness.  I can't bare to part with it, so I'm keeping it for myself!

However, these luscious palates are available for picking through the shop.  I'll be adding a few of them each day (man Etsy listing takes FOREVER), but if you'd like to purchase before then, just shoot me an email and I'll set you up with Paypal~

I threw in some kettle dyed yarns this time, for all you solid lovin' mamas.  These are easily reproduced, so if you'd like more than the 50g let me know!

Also, all this Etsy listing didn't leave much time for pattern writing, so I'll post that GH soaker pattern just as soon as I can!

Have a wonderful weekend~

  1. The third photo of yarn is my favorite. Here's hoping I can convince B that I really desperately *need* it before someone else snatches it up! (:

  3. I went ahead and ordered two twists of the third yarn. I couldn't help it! Now I just have to decide what to knit. All I know is that it simply *must* be something for myself. (:

  5. I am so crazy about your yarns Liz. I love working with them and I have had such wonderful compliments of my little gnomes knit up with your yarns. I am having a hard time not buying more before finishing up the two new skeins that arrived a few days ago - thanks!
    Warm wishes, Tonya

Your yarn is the first I've ever bought that wasn't from a generic store. I'm really super excited!
