Change is in the air...

As I turned the corner on my way home from a morning of good coffee, even better friends, and a warming skein of birchbark yarn, I realized that the world was changing rapidly right before my eyes!  A cloud of golden yellow birch leaves went swirling around me as I made my way up the driveway, past the wilting plants and fleeces drying in the sun.  Plants aren't the only things changing swiftly this Autumn either.  The cool weather leaves me invigorated, inspiring new adventures, creative endeavors, and personal growth.  All signs point to change in a big way....

I've had these thick, snug, toasty, wooly, oatmeal socks since I was in high school, (they're my favorite, you see) but I'm thinking it might be time for a change to some new favorite socks!

What positive changes have you been experiencing lately?

  1. Beautiful blog! I love positive change- mine came in the form of rearranging my day so I could take my flamenco dance class in the morning!

  2. I'm finally getting the house decluttered. It's almost like we've moved to a while new house - until I step outside and see that we're still not out in the country. It's amazing how a clean house can change your outlook on life.

I've also found the patience to learn more knitting things. Circular needles had been completely eluding me, but now I think I've quieted my mind enough to "get" it.

And the baby. Oh, how the baby is changing. He's developing quite the personality.

Some people find change and new hope in spring but for me, it's always been fall. (:

  3. Lala~ Thank you so much! I really needed to simplify and declutter my online space as well as my home environment!

Melissa~I know exactly what you mean! Whenever I get in a creative block I rearrange and clean the house and my thoughts become free again.~

Good luck with the circulars! Once you figure it out, you'll never go back to two needles:) Let me know if you have any questions!

About changes I have made? Hmmm. I guess I am happy that I started working out this year. Going to the gym on regular basis has given me tons of energy lately. Haven't lost any weight - but it's good to get rid of those lunchlady arms. LOL
