Once upon a time...

Once upon a time, a kind woman from a simple village in Vermont, requested a hank or two of hand~dyed yarn...
The kind woman worked her magic and turned the yarn into two fanciful gnomes, perfect for wee hands.

She spent the morning selling her goods at the market, where a neighboring family purchased a gift for their newest son. The baby giggled with glee at the little gnomes...  and they all lived happily ever after.

~The End~

The kind woman from Vermont can be found on Etsy as the knittingmomma and also on her blog Plain & Joyful Living where she writes about living simply with six children!

  4. Liz,
You are so sweet. I am crazy about your yarn. I look forward to coming up with a whole set of 4 seasonal gnomes if you would be interested in dying some to represent each season.
Many, many thanks and warm wishes, Tonya

Tonya, I would love to create a set of seasonal colors! The heat and storms are supposed to calm down quite a bit this week so hopefully I will be doing a lot of dyeing on Monday and Tuesday!
