Gluten Free ~ Full Moon Flat Bread Recipe::
3c. gluten free flour mix
1 1/2 tsp. xanthan gum
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1c. warm water
Mix all of the dry ingredients together. Add water and mix until smooth. Divide dough into 8 balls and on a floured surface, roll dough thin like a pie crust. Heat a small amount of oil in a griddle and cook until golden brown on both sides. Cool and serve. We love it with tacos, cream cheese and veggies, pb&j, and honey!
Mmmmm yummy! Must try these :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a goo gf flat bread. gonna give this a shot. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog---and oh am I glad I did. I just made me some gf flat bread. I fried up half of the dough balls, and decided to add Italian seasoning to the remainder to make pizza crusts with. Stuck this half in the fridge for a later time. :) Do you know how it keeps and/or works up after being in the fridge? I've only been gluten-free for about 6 months and have been looking for a quick, good multi-purpose flatbread recipe. I think I just found it. :D thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI've got to try these! I am experimenting with going gluten free for myself and my daughters. I have that mama intuition that my eldest may have a gluten intolerance. I'm trying to plan out a whole month worth of meals so that I am prepared in advance. Thanks for the recipe!
